Basler racer 2#

Basler racer 2 line scan cameras are a good choice for factory automation inspection applications that need both high speeds and high image quality.

Depending on the product family (racer 2 L or racer 2 S), the Basler racer 2 line scan cameras offer different interfaces. Both product families have in common that they have a CoaXPress interface and comply with the CoaXPress 2.0 standard.

CoaXPress 2.0 offers very high bandwidths of up to 12.5 Gbps per cable. In addition to transmitting data, CoaXPress data cables can also provide power to the camera (Power over CoaXPress (PoCXP)). Using PoCXP, you don't need a separate power cable. CoaXPress data cables in lengths of up to 30 meters are available.

racer 2 L Cameras#

Basler racer 2 L CXP Camera

Basler racer 2 L cameras are monochrome cameras with two CXP-12 connections. They feature an 8k and 16k CMOS image sensor and a line rate of up to 200 kHz.

Models#

racer 2 S Cameras#

Basler racer 2 S cameras have a foot print of 29 mm x 29 mm and are available as monochrome and color cameras. They feature 2k and 4k CMOS image sensors and a line rate up to 172 kHz. Basler racer 2 S cameras offer a large variety of interfaces, including GigE, 5GigE, and CoaXPress.
