On VMware ESXi, the Camera Isn't Detected#

If you have installed a Siemens Virtual Edge Device on a VMware ESXi virtual machine, and your camera isn't detected, change the Distributed Port Group settings on VMWare ESXi. In the Distributed Port Group - Edit Settings dialog, set all settings to Accept:

Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) on VMware ESXi#

MTU optimization settings configured during the installation of the Basler Vision Connector aren't stored on VMware ESXi virtual machines. You can change the MTU settings on your VMware ESXi virtual machine as described in the VMware Documentation.
